Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology is a 2-year program that trains understudies to manage equipment and procedures in an operating room, including anaesthesia administration and surgical instruments. The course is offered by the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Science College.

A diploma in operation theatre technician is a healthcare professional who manages the operation theatre and assists surgeons and doctors during surgery and emergency procedures. They prepare patients for surgery, wash and disinfect the surgical area, and prepare surgical instruments and equipment for sterilization. They manage the flow of patients in and out of the operation theatre, arrange the operation theatre tables, and maintain a sterile environment.
